Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the terms and conditions for the use of virtual machines (VMs) and containers provided by Indigo Server Hosting. By using our VMs or containers, you agree to comply with this AUP and all applicable laws and regulations.
Prohibited Activities
You are prohibited from using our VMs or containers for any of the following activities:
- Illegal Activities: Engaging in any illegal activities, including but not limited to:
- Distribution of malware or malicious software
- Unauthorized access to computer systems or networks
- Distribution of pirated software or copyrighted material
- Fraudulent activities such as phishing or identity theft
- Hosting or distributing child pornography
- Network Abuse: Engaging in activities that degrade the performance or disrupt the operation of our network or services, including but not limited to:
- Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks
- Port scanning or probing
- Spamming or sending unsolicited bulk email
- Violation of Intellectual Property Rights: Violating the intellectual property rights of others, including but not limited to:
- Hosting or distributing copyrighted material without authorization
- Using trademarks or logos without permission
- Reverse engineering or decompiling software without authorization
- Resource Abuse: Engaging in activities that consume excessive resources or negatively impact the performance of our VMs or containers, including but not limited to:
- Cryptocurrency mining
- Running processes that result in high CPU or memory usage for extended periods
Compliance with UK Law
All activities conducted on our VMs or containers must comply with UK law. We have a zero-tolerance policy for illegal activities, and we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services if you engage in such activities.
Enforcement
If we become aware of any violation of this AUP or illegal activities conducted on our VMs or containers, we reserve the right to take appropriate action, including but not limited to:
- Suspending or terminating your access to our services
- Removing or disabling content that violates this AUP or infringes upon the rights of others
- Cooperating with law enforcement authorities and providing them with any necessary information or assistance
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violations of this AUP or illegal activities conducted on our VMs or containers, please report them to us immediately at Contact@indigoserverhosting.com. We take reports of abuse seriously and will investigate them promptly.
Changes to This AUP
We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated AUP on our website.
